Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.7
Lantern Hollow is a quiet, hand-drawn adventure about wandering a forest and slowly piecing together why the lights went out. There's no combat and no fail state — you explore, solve gentle environmental puzzles, and let the atmosphere carry you. It's the sort of game that feels like a warm blanket.
The touch controls are simple: tap to walk, tap to interact, and swipe to move objects. Everything is readable on a phone screen and the art scales beautifully. Because it's mostly static scenes, it barely touches the battery, which makes it a great travel companion.
It's short — maybe four hours — but it's the kind of short that leaves an impression. We finished it in two cozy sittings and immediately wanted more from the same studio.
