Ironline Command

Ironline Command is a strategy game for people who like to think. You're managing a thin defensive line with never quite enough units, and every decision has weight. There's no timer breathing down your neck in the main campaign, so you can sit and plan a turn on the bus without stress.

The touch controls handle the grid well — pinch to zoom, drag to move, and a clean radial menu for orders. On a small screen the info can get cramped, but the developers let you scale the UI in settings, which helped a lot on a compact phone. It's easy on the battery too, since nothing is rendering in real time.

It's not flashy and it won't grab everyone, but if you enjoy chewing over supply lines and choke points, it's quietly excellent.
